About Our CEO
Norman Rijo's portfolio includes multimillion dollar high end residential buildings in New York and Miami; some which include colleges, universities, community and religious organizations like the YMCA and the General Theological Seminary, as well as retail stores, private companies, non-for-profits like the Natural Resources defense Council. Norman has acted as Project Manager, Director of Operations, Executive Vice President, and President on projects such as the offices for the Department of Homeland Security, Bear Stearns, 9 West 57th Street, The Metropolitan Museum of Art Asian Exhibit Room, Tavern on The Green in Central Park New York. Norman was the Director of Operations for a major development in Bay Harbor Islands from pre-construction through closeout on the Tryp Hotel, The Ivory Condominium, and the Kai. All three projects were run simultaneously with a total job cost in excess of $68 million. Managing vendors with an eye toward quality control, Norman was able to bring all three projects to a smooth successful completion.

Under Norman’s leadership, Norco Construction has effectively set itself apart from other industry firms through innovation, its attention to detail, and day to day management of the construction process from pre-construction through project close-out.
